Most enclosed boats will have some kind of water system on board, ranging from a single manual pump operated tap to a system featuring hot and cold water with mixer taps and showers. Marine plumbing can be a daunting subject but most pleasure craft designed for river use have surprisingly similar water systems and understanding the function of just a few key common components can really help to gain a good understanding of marine plumbing. Unlike domestic plumbing where water pressure is generally created by gravity, boats require an electric pump to generate water pressure as tanks are often level with or below the outlets they serve. The pump is therefore the heart of the system and works by cycling on and off to maintain the desired pressure and a good flow when you open a tap. Most pumps are switched on and off automatically via a pressure switch inside the pump, though some smaller pumps rely on micro switches within the taps themselves. Pumps do differ in the pressure they provide (usually in PSI) and the flow rate (usually in GPM or LPM). The size of your boat, the number of outlets the pump will serve and the complexity of the water system will dictate which pump you will need.

A few years ago I decided to order a Buddha garden statue mold online because I wanted to start making these statues and selling them. They are fairly easy to make they just require a little hard work and there are a few things that you can do which help to improve the quality of the finished product. Firstly though I will tell you the things which you will need to make the statue. You will need a mold which you can buy online or you can make your own. I will be putting a hub up soon which shows you how to make your own. You will also need some cement, some sand , some pea gravel, water, a container to mix your concrete in, a spade or something that you can mix your concrete with, a rubber mallet, some silicone spray and some carpet. You can also find a product which is called concentrated plasticiser. I have found that this product helps to reduce air bubbles and also makes the statues stronger and less likely to crack.

In the last few years Robot integrator T&D in collaboration with a leading supplier of natural stone, Marmi e Graniti d'Italia (MGI), has applied its technology and innovation for applications in the stone industry. One of the latest frontiers in the field is definitely the interaction between ABB robots and natural stone. Using the creation of a replica of artist Amedeo Modigliani's infamous "HEAD" sculpture in white granite, T&D explored the application of a robotic milling system to evaluate whether industrial robots are capable of the demands and challenges that processing stone requires. The results of the experiment surpassed all expectations offering a quality of cut comparable to CNC machinery. This is a story of my third project with cheap gyro and Arduino. After the earlier two projects, Easy Inverted Pendulum and 3D Calligraphy, I have thought of making Camera Gimbal with Arduino. Then I had three policies for the project: Equipped with standard camera bigger than GoPro; Simple as possible with no special device nor kit; Bootstrap: Refer to fewer websites as possible and finish with no imitation. At the start of the project, I had intention of making 2-axis gimbal with Servo Motors. But it has been made clear that it is difficult to see adequate performance using Servo Motor. Consequently a 3-axis gimbal with Brushless Motors and Arduino has been made. INTRODUCTION VIDEO below shows the effectiveness of the DIY gimbal. In the video, pretty noise would be heard suddenly. It is left without any reduction to show strengths and weaknesses of the gimbal. Arbitrary film editing is avoided.

Philippe Dufour says that people come to him because he creates watches that cannot be found elsewhere. "I'm obliged to innovate" he says pragmatically. But do not feel sorry for him. The challenge to create the world's first double escapement wristwatch was seized gladly. The aim of the double escapement is to compensate for errors in the rate of the watch, produced by the effect of gravity on the regulating organs. In this sense, it challenges the existing champion, the tourbillon device, invented by Breguet in 1801. Philippe Dufour's double escapement has proved already to be effective. Compared with the tourbillon, it possesses the additional quality of retaining all its efficiency when reduced to the dimensions of a wristwatch. The key to the concept is a complex differential system, positioned, with the two escapement mechanisms, on the fourth wheel. The two balance wheels operate completely independently of each other. The differential system averages out the differences between them, and thus reduces the potential error in rate by half. The differential system alone, without the regulating organs, has twenty-one parts, twice as many as the tourbillon. And yet the entire assembly is only 30 mm in diameter, and 4 mm high. It fits neatly into a 34 mm watch. How may the Duality be recognised? This master of complications says that, aesthetically speaking, he likes simplicity. For the Duality this means a smooth, finely polished case in yellow gold, rose gold, white gold or platinum. A silvered dial carries Dauphine-style hands pointing to raised hour markers and Arabic numerals. A distinctive feature of the dial is the unusual placing of the small seconds-hand at half-past seven, reflecting the layout of the movement. The strap is in top quality, hand stitched crocodile leather.

How To Turn Styrofoam, Into Solid Aluminum

The gun is solid aluminum, made from melted down soda cans. I spent over 100 hours of time, and 7 styrofoam prototypes to make this video. About a third of the time was spent filing and sanding the gun. Each time I poured a casting for the gun, the trigger guard wouldn’t complete all the way through, so I kept making new styrofoam guns, modifying the designs slightly until it worked. Once I got a fairly clean casting, I put 2 days into filing down rough points, and sanding them smooth. The gun could use a little more work, and it’s not perfect, but this experiment was mainly a proof of concept that nearly anything you can imagine can be made fairly easily with the “lost foam casting” technique. Overall, I really am happy with the gun though! It weighs 556 grams, and is really quite smooth to feel. For future projects, I plan to work more with green sand casting. I believe it will leave a nicer finish overall and won’t require as many prototypes to get it right :) Instead of foam, wood plugs can be used to make the molds, or even real weapons for that matter.

CATIA (Computer Aided Three-dimensional Interactive Application) is a multi-platform CAD/CAM/CAE commercial software suite developed by the French company Dassault Systèmes directed by Bernard Charlès. Written in the C++ programming language, CATIA is the cornerstone of the Dassault Systèmes software suite. CATIA started as an in-house development in 1977 by French aircraft manufacturer Avions Marcel Dassault, at that time customer of the CAD/CAM CAD software to develop Dassault's Mirage fighter jet. It was later adopted in the aerospace, automotive, shipbuilding, and other industries.
